Gregory Gaillard is a french dancer and choreographer.
As a dancer, he’s worked, within the Paris Opera Ballet, with some of the greatest contemporary choreographers : William Forsythe, Wayne McGregor, Angelin Preljocaj, Benjamin Millepied, Boris Charmatz, Jerôme Bel, Tino Sehgal…
As a choreographer, he created a piece called “En attendant l’année dernière“ (“Now wait for last year”) given as part of “Dancers choreographers”, a four evenings event at Opera Bastille in Paris, in 2013.
He also made a performance choreography for 150 students for the opening of the climate change conference COP21 in 2015.
He worked several times with the photographer and director Laurent Seroussi and notably choreographed and performed in French singer Zazie's music video "Pas que beau".
In 2016, he did the choreography to Virginie Dinh's first short movie "Infini".
Lately, he's been working as an assistant rehearsing coach for Merce Cunningham's "Walkaround Time" in Opera Garnier.
He is currently a dancer in the Paris Opera Ballet company.
